We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. Files you upload are processed on our servers but are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
Device Permissions
PDFGo requests the following device permissions to provide core functionality:
- Camera Permission: We request camera access only when you choose to take a photo that will be converted to a PDF document. This permission is optional and is requested on-demand, not when the app launches. Photos taken are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted to our servers unless you choose to process them as PDFs.
- Photo Library Permission: We request access to your photo library only when you choose to select images from your library to convert to PDF documents. This permission is optional and is requested on-demand when you choose to use this feature. Images selected are processed locally and are not stored or transmitted to our servers unless you choose to process them as PDFs.
All permissions are optional and user-initiated. The app functions fully without these permissions, but you will not be able to use camera or photo library features. You can grant or deny permissions at any time through your device settings, and you can change your permission preferences at any time. We do not use these permissions for tracking, advertising, or any purpose other than the specific functionality you request.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process your file requests, respond to your inquiries, and ensure the security of our services. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and service improvement purposes.
Data Storage and Processing
Files you upload are temporarily stored on our secure servers for processing purposes only. All files are automatically deleted from our servers immediately after processing is complete, typically within minutes. We do not retain copies of your files or access them after processing. Processing occurs on our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure fast and reliable service.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure server infrastructure, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your files only for the time necessary to complete processing, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. We do not maintain backups or archives of processed files. We may retain certain metadata and usage statistics in anonymized form for service improvement and analytics purposes.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Since we do not require account creation and files are automatically deleted after processing, most data is not retained.
